Tamarack Center is an 16-bed adolescent residential treatment facility that treats teens who have any of the following issues: suicide attempts, mood or thought disturbances, ADHD, learning disabilities, history of abuse or history of aggressive behavior. At Tamarack Center, professionals guide teens through therapy with intensive 24-hour monitoring and structure. Treatment plans are tailored for each teen’s needs and the residential living allows them to participate in a structured and safe environment.
Licensed Faculty at School
Tamarack Center staff have years of experience in using therapy, family involvement and recreation to help teens manage their issues. On staff are a consulting psychiatrist who oversees treatments, a Ph.D. psychologist, registered nurses, consulting pediatrician, registered dietitian, occupational therapist and a speech therapist via the school district.
Student Activities Available
Activities at Tamarack Center include bike rides, softball, dining out, workouts and fitness classes, and art therapy.
