New Lifestyles is a transition program that helps young adults move toward a successful and fulfilling adult life. Using therapy, life coaching and job training, New Lifestyles provides a safe and nurturing environment for residents to expand their horizons and set and achieve goals. Providing vocational, educational and volunteer opportunities in the surrounding communities, New Lifestyles allows young adults to gain independence with a strong support system and the tools they need to manage their emotional and behavioral issues.
Licensed Faculty at School
At New Lifestyles, the clinical team includes doctoral level professionals who work at the facility full time. These include licensed psychologists and psychology residents. The residential team has earned bachelor’s degrees in various professions.
Student Activities Available
Activities at New Lifestyles include bowling, swimming, going to the movies, and attending social gatherings, skiing, rock climbing, and paintballing. Weekend excursions to national and state parks, amusement parks and water parks are common. A nearby gym is available for fitness activities and rock wall climbing.
