Fulshear Ranch Academy is a transitional residential treatment center that helps women in their late teens and early twenties move from dependent living to independence. With a focus on building life skills, completing educational goals and healing from a range of emotional or behavioral challenges, Fulshear Ranch Academy is a safe place for women to learn and grow. A 34-acre horse ranch, Fulshear Academy divides treatment into three parts: healing, transitioning and independence.
Licensed Faculty at School
The clinical team at Fulshear Ranch Academy is comprised of professionals that hold degrees such as a doctorate in general psychology, a board-certified psychiatrist, a master’s in marriage and family therapy, a master’s degree in social work, a master’s in educational psychology, licensed chemical dependency counselor and a registered nurse.
Student Activities Available
Equine therapy is a key part of the therapy available at Fulshear Ranch Academy and residents care for horses and learn to ride. Life skill training includes domestic chores and managing finances. Recreational activities like swimming and hiking.
