Newport Academy

Newport Academy is an elite residential treatment center for teen boys and girls suffering from mental health issues, substance abuse and behavioral challenges. It employs a highly qualified staff and has a small teacher-to-student ratio. The school is located on a 6-acre equestrian property and equine therapy is a key part of each teen’s treatment plan. Newport Academy offers gender-specific treatment environments and a minimum of 10 hours of individual therapy each week. The school focuses on family therapy as well, with consistent family involvement.
