The Discovery School of Virginia

The Discovery School of Virginia houses teens with a certain profile: specific learning difficulties, attention deficits, hyperactivity, lack of motivation, poor study skills, behavior problems, emotional disabilities, and unresolved emotional or developmental issues. The boys school and the girls school are separate to help teens focus on academics and building healthy relationships. Positive development is encouraged via therapy, academic success and practicing social skills. The Discovery School of Virginia is fully accredited by the state.

Student Activities Available

Recreational activities include  basketball, football, soccer, softball, volleyball, swimming, bowling, and skating. Also, day trips to zoos, aquariums, sporting events and state parks are common.
